Hudson Fire Department
EMS services consists of 16 medical personnel with a broad knowledge
base of paramedical training. Our base development starts at
a first responders level, all our members will eventually develop,
through experience and higher level of training, an EMT-B level
of care. Many members of our team are EMT’s, ALS paramedic’s,
RN’s (ACLS) many RN’s in training.
Our Medical protocols are developed and Governed by the RRSSSM,(Regie
Regionale De La Sante Et Des Service Sociaux) and our members
are all trained on defibrillator and basic drug therapy.
Our team trains for all types of medical emergency’s to
keep ourselves ready and prepared for everything. With special
classes of training in cold water rescue, vehicle extrication,
boat rescues, high angle rescues and much more. Our equipment
includes monitor/defibrillators with three lead electro cardio-gram
(ECG) capabilities, pulse oxymeters, burn kits, obstetric kits,
with much more.
We are proud of our quick responses times, which can drastically
help us save lives.
The Hudson fire department’s EMS members are extremely
dedicated and professional and are on duty to protect our community
24 hrs a day, 7 day’s a week, 365 day’s a year.
