Prevention
The Hudson fire
department’s most important and hardest job is prevention.
Our prevention team, headed by firefighter Antoine Hétu,
consists of every member of the dept. and all our citizens.
We are the only business who’s goal is to put ourselves
out of business. In order for us to achieve this goal we must
constantly seek out new information and ways of educating the
public.
The Hudson fire
department has many education programs already in place with
many more to follow. Some of these programs include fire prevention
and basic first aid presentations, station tours, fire prevention
week, pre-planning commercial and residential buildings, newspaper
articles, and the junior firefighter program. Even this website
will be a great source of information.
