At 21:00hrs, Engine 202 got called to a structure fire at a marina backing station #3(Ile-Perrot). The marina had multiple boats stored inside and out. Upon our arrival we split the crews with one going to sides 2-3 to protect the boats that were stored there and the second crew went to sector 4 for exposures to other buildings. There was extensive damage and losses were estimated at approx. 1.5 million dollars. E202 was cleared at midnight.

• Apr 5th – Fire call(Smoke in the house)
At 19:30hrs, we received a call for smoke in a house. All vehicles responded and found that a closed flu from the fireplace was the problem and filled the house with smoke. A ppv fan was requested from Rescue 502 and the building was cleared. After verifying Co levels the house was turned over to the owner.

After clearing from the medical call we got a call for a residential fire alarm. Engine 202 arrived first and found that workers had set off the alarm. All crews cleared shortly after

We got a call to verify a stove that had smoke coming from the oven. The unit was checked out with the thermal imaging camera and nothing was found.

At
15:00hrs, the owner of a house on the water called a public assist. We found a dead deer and removed it from the water. The game warden was called to remove it.

At 11:45hrs, we got a call for a residential fire alarm. Engine 202 arrived first and found that workers had set off the alarm. All crews cleared shortly after

After investigating, this call was confirmed false and crews cleared within 15mins.

• Apr 13th – Fire call(Barn fire with extension to the house)
Tanker 302 responded with 6 on board to a barn fire backing station #7(Rigaud). T302 shuttled water while the crews worked the fire. T302 was cleared by command 8hrs latter.

Tanker 302 with 6 on board responded with Vaudreuil-Dorion to a brush fire. The fire was knocked down within 30mins.

Rescue 502 responded to assist a homeowner with water in the basement. The basement was pumped out and the owner contacted a plumber to fix the pump that had malfunctioned.

While the HFD was training, we got a call for a car accident with possible person trapped. Engine 202 arrived first and found a single vehicle in the ditch with the driver already out being treated by ambulance. The vehicle broke a hydro pole with 3 high tension lines. We checked out the car for leaks and stood by until Hydro arrived.

At 12noon, we received a call for a gas detector activated in a restaurant. The alarm was set off by cleaning agents.
• Apr 30th – Fire call(Open air fire)
A small fire was set near the beach. It was extinguished with a class A extinguisher and crews cleared 15mins.later.
