Just before our fire practice,
we received a call for a boat in distress. Water rescue 1502
responded with 3 on board to assist the vessel and tow it back
to shore.

At 20:30, a call came in for smoke
showing from the roof of an animal shelter. All trucks responded
with Engine 202 arriving first. Capt 131 took command and after
investigation found that the smoke was coming from a chimney
and all was OK. All crews were back in service within 45mins.

At 22:30, we got a call for flames
visible coming from 50 gal. drums in an unknown location. All
trucks responded to different areas because the details were
very vague. After a short while, Tanker 302 found the fire near
a commercial garage. T302 took command and was able to extinguish
the fire.

Fire call(Structure fire)
Early in the morning, Engine 202
was called out to a structure fire backing station 12(Vaudreuil-Dorion).
Once on scene, the crews were asked by command to stand-by.
The crews were released a couple of hours later.

At 16:00, Rescue 502 responded
for a flooded basement. The crews were able to handle this call
within 1 hour.

At approx.22:00, a call came in
for a van sinking in a field with people inside. Dispatch was
not sure of the exact location so we sent our vehicles to different
locations. After a short while we were cancelled by police.

At 17:50, the house got a call
for smoke showing from the rear porch. Engine 202 arrived first
and confirmed that there was light smoke visible from the rear.
The first arriving crew checked out the porch and found a small
fire underneath the porch. The fire was extinguished and the
floor was verified for extension. All crews cleared about an
hour later.

On this day there was a violent
lightning storm throughout the county and at approx. 16:30,
Engine 202 was called to a structure fire backing station #6
(Pincourt). A lightning strike caused this house to catch fire.
E202 arrived and was advised from command to split up the crews
in 2. The first crew went inside to the second floor and pulled
ceilings while the second crew proceeded to the rear and pulled
siding from the second floor exterior wall.
