R502 responded for a carbon monoxide call. The CO detector was used and no readings were found.

E202, R502 and M902 got dispatched to an mvc with injuries. E202 arrived first and found 2 vehicles involved with patients in both vehicles. All injuries were minor and treated by M902 and EMS.
• Oct 5th – Fire call (Commercial fire alarm)
All trucks responded for alarms sounding in a commercial building. After investigation, the cause for the alarm was found to be a smoke machine used for an event.

E202 and L402 got dispatched to a chimney fire. The fire was extinguished and the owner was advised to have the chimney checked out due to some bricks that had fallen in the fireplace.

E202, R502 and M902 responded to an mvc. There was one car involved with the patient having only minor injuries.

All trucks were dispatched to a smell of smoke inside a house. The smell was caused by a malfunctioning fireplace.

After a busy day at HFD, we received another call for alarms. This one was for a historical house. The alarm was set off by a power failure and all was OK.
• Oct 19th – Fire call(Hydro pole fire)
While responding to the previous call, we were dispatched to another call. This call was for a Hydro pole on fire. L402 and R502 were redirected to this call and nothing was found as power in the area had gone off.

E202, T302 and L402 were called out to a local hardware store for alarms. After gaining access to the inside, it was discovered that the alarm was set off from water leaking in the detector.

All trucks responded to a school for a fire alarm. The building was checked out and nothing was found.

We were dispatched to a school for alarms. After investigating, it was found that the alarm was set off by cooking.

R502 was dispatched to a flooding call. The basement was pumped out and crews cleared within the hour.
